Ashley completed this project as a Final Project for an Editorial Photography class. Students were tasked with creating and editorial profile on a person or location. Ashley chose to focus on her grandmother, but also on the complicated emotions and perspectives associated with aging. Photography her grandmother in hospice care, Ashley captured the intense compassion and grief that comes with witnessing the aging of a loved one.
